Our beautiful lead-light room is the original hotel guest dining room, and has been stylishly refurbished to create a gorgeous space for parties, functions, meetings, or boutique conferences.

Embraced by a bay of historic lead-light windows, this warmly carpeted room has a delightful ambience and an old world charm, complete with roaring log fire. The space can be arranged to suit your requirements.



Our newly opened Taproom and Visitor Centre is ready for private parties and events. With its own bar situated in our brand new state-of-the-art brewery, it is the perfect size for cocktail parties or corporate events of up to 90 guests standing, or 50 seated.

Featuring 16 taps, its own amenities, and indoor and outdoor areas, our taproom is a truly unique experience you can’t find anywhere else in Central Victoria.

Convenience and comfort combine beautifully in Holgate’s very private business facility – fully equipped with Data Projector, Screen, Mobile White Board and Flip Chart – perfect for meetings and conferences of up to 30 people*. And what better way to complete a successful day than retiring to the bar to sample a few Holgate beers or premium local wines. Elegant accommodation sleeps 10 singles or 10 couples with a maximum of 28 people.

Holgate offers the ideal venue for your next gathering or family celebration.

Our private function rooms comfortably seat 20-50 guests for a sit-down lunch/dinner, and can accommodate up to 80 people for a finger food function.
Moreover, private room hire for lunch/dinner/finger food functions for groups of 20 or more is offered at no charge.

Our Taproom is available from 7pm – midnight 7 days a week.
