Well team, there’s good news and bad news... The bad news is our pub will be closed for the foreseeable future.
But the good news is, our taproom will now become a full time bottleshop!
We will be open:
- 11am - 6pm Sun to Wed
- 11am - 9pm Thu to Sat
We will also be doing takeaway food on Thu, Fri and Sat. We will let you know how to order very soon.
And again, direct online sales are coming very soon too. In the meantime you can drop in and grab what you need - or order our beer from a bunch of existing online retailers.
Stay safe, take care. And hopefully things will return to normal soon.

Well team, there’s good news and bad news... The bad news is our pub will be closed for the foreseeable future.
But the good news is, our taproom will now become a full time bottleshop!
We will be open:
- 11am - 6pm Sun to Wed
- 11am - 9pm Thu to Sat
We will also be doing takeaway food on Thu, Fri and Sat. We will let you know how to order very soon.

Things are moving very quickly in this crisis - but one thing is certain. Now is the time to make sure you’ve got the beer you need to get you through. . We’re not sure if our Taproom bottleshop will qualify as an ‘essential service’ yet so that means we may only have tonight / tomorrow to get our beer directly into the hands of our locals / customers. Please come in and see us to grab some takeaways, and support local, independent beer. . The big guys don’t need your support as much as we do, so we really appreciate you choosing to buy your takeaway beer with us (or your local Holgate supplier). . As things progress we will be available online from different retailers. Google ‘buy Holgate beer’ - some of our beer is already available, with more stock added early this week. Plus we’ll have our own online store up and running early this week too. So watch this space. Let’s be there for each other over the next few days, weeks and months.
